It is widely recognized around the world that grief arising from life’s inevitable sorrows and losses is most effectively released in a communal setting. Unexpressed grief can be toxic, leading to illness, depression, addiction and even damaging and violent behavior towards oneself or others. Many of us now find few if any opportunities to wholesomely express our grief in the company of others. Join us as we support one another, welcome the many faces and forms of grieving, and hold compassionate witness in a sacred ritual container. Together we reweave the bonds of connection and belonging that knit communities together.
Blending song, poetry, easy grounding movement, small and large group sharing, humor, and the co-creation of a beautiful ritual setting, Laurence Cole provides a journey through the depths and heights of our aliveness. We come to a sense of renewal, connection and an awakened capacity for radiant joy.
